A model of implementing online learning in remote villages of Nepal

 Nepal is a developing country. There are many remote areas in Nepal where the online learning is to much difficult because of problem of Network, electricity, trained teachers, teaching learning technologies etc. World is changeable so Online learning is to much important in present time. To solve those types of problems research and good planning should be done.

In the time of COVID-19 pendamic lockdown was beginning to control COVID-19 outbreak. Many educational institutions had started switching from traditional classroom teaching to online teaching but there many remote area's students were unable to join the class.As per a UNICEF report two - thirds of Nepal's school children were unable to access remote learning due to school closures last year.

So implementation of online learning in remote villages of Nepal is important however it is difficult but it is not impossible. Because if government of Nepal and federal government can make good and village focus plan many remote areas of Nepal can get benefits of online learning .

There some services are running in village areas like as People can use data services from different types of SIM in their devices. Not only that Nepal Telecom also provide CUG(closed user group) service. Which helps to school to run their classes . 2019 Digital Nepal Framework has been also started.

Importance of implementing online learning in remote areas of Nepal are given below;

-to update the students of the village in technology.

- Don't let students be deprived of education.

- To learn various training and knowledge at home.

- To connect the village with the world.

Implementation of online learning in remote areas of Nepal is important but there are various types of challenges some of them are mention below;

- Online learning devices are not available sufficiently.

- All teachers are not trained enough to run the online learning activities

- Students haven't access to the quality internet to attend the classes without distrubance .

- problem of Stable network.

- Electrical problem.

Dispite the various problems in some places students are taking online classes through various means like as data service,CUG service. Now CUG service brought by Nepal Telecom has helped to run virtual classes in some villages. Not only that,in some places WiFi services have also arrived which has helped in implementing online learning. 

Implementation of online learning in remote areas may difficult and challengeable but we should use different ways. According to the report of Nepal Telecom  "Nepal Telecom's SIM cards have reached all the 77 districts of Nepal and various other SIM cards also being used so that various facilities like as data service, CUG service provided by the telecom can be used . Not only that at present Nepal Telecom has also provided cheap WiFi service mainly focus to village . Which can be used properly to conduct online learning activities in the village but for that online learning materials must be available and teachers must be trained . If online learning is implemented in remote villages,many people in the villages will benefit.
